Centennial Taekwon-Do is a traditional Martial Arts School.  Our goal is to maintian our Taekwon-Do training as close to the time honored traditions held dear by martial artists around the world.

One important tradition that reaches back centuries is that of maintaining a history or credentials of your martial arts training.  In the past these histories/credentials were presented beofre any business was transacted.  In keeping with this tradition Centennial Taekwon-Do requires that all of its students maintain their own martial arts history.  This completed history must be presented at the time of I Dan and above tests.

Things that should be included in this history are as follows:

  • Testing History, including testing papers, certificates and chronology.
  • Competition History, including tournaments attended, places won.
  • Special seminars attended
  • Community Service
  • Special martial arts related awards and events
  • Taekwon-Do line of training, see Taekwon-Do page

You may want to look at the Instructor page to get an idea of what to include.  When putting together this history please use a three ring binder, no loose pages.  Make it neat and organized.  You are encouraged to be creative in creating a history that is uniquely yours, like adding photos and other things that enhance it.
